Harsh review for a family restaurant. No wonder these type of restaurants are fading away because of these ridiculous reviews of uneducated people. Imagine Downtown Los Angeles Chinatown where restaurants were good wholesome, and the chefs come from Hong Kong and China seeking a better life for their family. This place is clean, food is great, and very tasty. So, what do you expect? A Gordon Ramsey, Bobby Flay interpretation of Chinese food? Some of you clearly need to step off your high horses and realize the food is good because the Chef comes from the Hong Kong and this is a family restaurant with good food, and because of your ridiculous expectations you want to ruin their business. Eat here if you want Hong Kong style Chinese food in the area.

The food is good here! Standard cantonese fare. Recommend: szechuan eggplant, honey glazed pork chop, sweet and sour spare ribs. You can tell it's good because the clientele is older chinese folks.

Came for a family celebration. It's a smaller place but they have a banquet hall type set up for large gatherings, some diner booths for small parties, and a hot takeout counter. It could be telling that the window shows the Hacienda Heights PD and Uber phone numbers! This place is in the same complex as CVS and Bank of America. Plenty of parking. We ordered two different seafood hot pots with crispy rice (eel and fish maw) that required 20 minutes prep so we called ahead. Otherwise we ordered a selection of plates off the menu. We got traditional favorites and weird stuff like eggplant in XO stirfry, fried fish filet with basil, stir fried fish and veggies, walnut shrimp in mayo, pork belly with mushrooms, fried tofu stirfry. The most interesting was the lightly fried pumpkin. I thought it was batter but then was told it was actually salted egg! It had a creamy outside with sweet inside. Bathrooms could use some work though.

Decided to visit to this spot-on Thanksgiving Day 2023! Honestly, not sure what to expect, as soon we walked in, we were happily greeted and seated right away! I noticed there were a ton of to go orders. Partner and I were craving our typical Chinese food order Salt and Pepper Calamari - Crunchy, seasoned well, not too spicy Szechwan Eggplant - hint of spice, stayed hot (temperature wise) the whole time Beef Chow Fun w gravy - Tender beef, flavorful noods Duck - typical, very good except, it came out room temp. BBQ Pork - Typical and just like the duck - room temp. If you are in or near the area and can't get to Alhambra or Rosemead, let's say you live in Whittier, City of Industry, Avocado Heights then this is your spot. =) Missing star - I was quite surprised at the price of 2 Bbq item combo $31? Check out how small the portion was.

Roast whole pig is a winner! Their formal Chinese 10-course banquet is really nice! However, the banquet menu price went up for close to $1000! M n my family went in for dinner banquet few times, it's good but way too expansive. No corkage fee is nice. I've never tried their regular menu. BBQ items are popular. I don't see they r busy during the business hour.

Came out to have some dinner with the family and we had a large party so we were in the back room. This place was kind of a while in the wall so you wouldn't expect the quality just from the outside. We ordered a variety of dishes, as well as some tea and food came out relatively quickly. The walnut shrimp was tasty as well as the soup, which is very flavorful. We also got a oyster dish among many others. Overall staff was very friendly and helpful to get us everything we needed and quickly. They changed our plates halfway through our meal, so that was very nice and were able to help us package up everything to go. Give us a Place a try if you're looking for some good Chinese food.
